How many men were said to pass through the Gate of Minas Tirith from Lossarnach with Forlong the Fat to aid the defense of the City?

Nope, that's not correct.
Remember, as Bergil and Pippin watched the men enter the Gate, there were mutterings from the people around them; they were hoping for a lot more than had come.

Oh - I was confused, thought you mean when the army went to the Black Gate and some Gondorians that were in Pelargir went to Minas Tirith to keep it safe;
Ok. What about 500 then? |

..."when the men of Lossanarch had passed they muttered: "so few! Two Hundreds, what are they? We hoped for ten times the number.

Ah, I made it. One quick easy question as I'm packing to leave tomorrow.
How many levels was Minas Tirith built in?

Ok. Good luck in your moving! Hope to see you soon.
Anyway: What is, probably, the origin of Saruman's name in the Shire: Sharkey(sp.)? |

No, no, no. We're moved in. This is a trip to see Mickey Mouse!
Gee and I know the answer to the question but it isn't fair to post it as I'm really signing off now. Hold the fort.

When the Dunedain rode with Aragorn to Dunharrow, they each wore something in common. What was it? (I'm not talking about their shirts and pants!! )
