With the combination of a very snowy winter, and a very early Easter, we have it...
Snow for Easter in Chicago! We got about 4-6 inches yesterday, on Good Friday, and it looks like another inch or so last night. Last I could tell it was still coming down, but very slowly. We haven't had a significant snow since February, and all we'd had before had finally just finished melting. So it IS a little crazy (and what with coming on the second day of Spring, etc). It was just a little odd to be scraping snow off the church van last night in advance of taking it out to pick up kids on Easter Sunday!

I can imagine! The weather forecast predicted a white Easter here as well, but so far no snow to be seen. It would be the first snow this "winter" for us though.

Beautiful sunny day here as well in NZ. Just got back from the park with the cat. Took the Northern Lights (book 1 aka Golden Compass - Dark Materials trilogy), and read it a bit, then went for a little walk with him on his harness. Silly scaredy-cat booger.

Introduce them to him in his own turf, IE your home. Worked wonders for all my animals. Just bring friends over, doesn't have to be ONLY about the cat, just have people over and act normal.
