Wow. Wish I had friends like that. Actually, most of my friends are already obsessed with LotR- just more the PJ kind of LotR.

some of my friends have read the book, some part of it, and everybody has seen the movies, but they are not into it like I am.

Not all of my friends have seen the movies, which suprises me. A lot of them are more into... Milder things, and think LotR is too violent. Oh well.

You know you're obsessed when a friend makes you and your friends hair scrunchies for Christmas and you pick the one who's fabric she describes as "cows jumping over moons" not because of the nursery rhyme but because you immediately think of the song Frodo sings in the Prancing Pony.

he he
Here I go again...
1. You get the lord of the ring board game and try to take over the world with the fake elven rings provided. 2. You take a stick, a fake beard, and a bathrobe and start calling yourself a wizzard. 3. You think you are a hobbit.

Okay here is some more...
1. You start sing nonsence all hours of the day (Like tom bombadill) 2. You are convenced you are a rohirim (that's a rider of rohan for those who don't know) 3. You apply for a job as a park ranger and start hanging around the park in a green cloke looking for orcs... 4. And you find one! 5. You have come up with a number of LotR to stuffed animal cat games equivalints and mixes. (Gilty )

how about this...
1. every ring you see you destroy 2. when you see a spider, you scream, "AH, SHELOB/UNGOLIANT!" 3. you've memorized "the RIng Poem", one ring to rule them all, one ring to find them... 4. you are convinced that Morgoth was behind 9/11

When you tell your family that you don't expect to depart anytime soon but just in case you do you want them to play "Into the West" at your funeral.

That's funny.
Or when you'd seriously entertain the idea of playing that 'Farewell to Lorien' number as the processional at your wedding.

Oh boy, more.
Here I go again...
1. You start nameing stuff after lotr things (ie: orcs, hobbits, elfs, dwarfs...) 2. You have a ring that can make you invisable (You got it on e-bay) 3. You think you saw that tree outside your window move. 4. You have come up with odd combanations that aren't in the book.

Another thing...
Examples for my last post:
Wraith wizzard (wizzard that has been turned into a wraith) Cork (cat-orc) Light orc (elf like orc)
