Is there anything I should know about Magor? I'm assuming that he is pretty young, like either teens or early 20's? For your info, Redplate is in his 30s, or so.

She wouldn't. They're mostly vegetarian (they don't eat meat, but they do fish).

That and in hunter-gatherer societies it was actually the gathering that provided most of the food (20/80 or something, IIRC) and Tabril, while she wouldn't know that, would have figured out that one seemed to provide more food than the other, and would use that as proof of her way's superiority (no surprises there, then

)

I don't remember how old I (or the kid that originally invented him) made him. I'll have to see if I can find the post. I usually think around 24 or 25. Young enough to have known ... Acally's character when they were children (if Acally's character is 18 or 19 at this point), but old enough to have been a Rider for at least a little while.

I'd make him about 24/25 (a bit more mature than 18) and probably only really good at one thing, like archery (since they're not going to slice off the deer's head with a sword), unless they're not going to bring anything back (which would be an interesting twist on their little manly outing. And no offense, Acally, but I'd probably take out the part about him having a crush on Aelf too, just because that seems pretty superfluous to me. I feel the story has plenty of romance between Abasi and Tabril, Ingwionis and A'mael, and even Nami and Quickleaf (unofficial though that one is). And of course, he's a little bit more outgoing than in the original post, but that wasn't on purpose. He wouldn't have joined the group if he hadn't been outgoing enough to fight against people he knew and for people he didn't. He's also possessing a remarkable affinity for pickles.

She'll get the response back (from Magor, at least) that women don't do the hunting and of course they think farming is more efficient. But doesn't she know that meat tastes good?

Actually, it used to be that they did hunt a deer with a sword when mounted and indeed the killing blow would've been to the head!

But, as that is, I'll keep it that he is 24ish then, rather than the much younger 18? Alrighty, bout to post.

Really? I kind of had that picture, especially when I first joined up. Like I said it was never voiced (like Abasi and Tabril, at least), so I could have been wrong.

I helped him with the Bio, but it was his idea to have a crush on my character. But I think we later decided that crush faded after he joined the Riders. Magor is maybe a couple years older than Aelfwine. Aelf only sees him as a good friend and not a lover. So no offense taken.

Hello everyone. I'm kinda sorta back!! And it appears that I have 3 more months of catching up to do .... I say this with all necessary passion ... holy *$@#!!

Well, if it's a good idea for me to join in again, I will do so. My character is with Ingwe in some town in the east, at least I think. He told me he hadn't posted since last year in this Rpg, so I'm assuming that we're still in the same place we were before.

About Baru's song about her grandmother Arindis: Arindis is the daughter of Angrod, Galadriel's brother. Sadly, Tolkien had so much trouble working out whether Angrod had a son or not, that he never realised that he had a daughter.
Fortunately, Aika and I found out, a few years ago

This makes Galadriel the great-grand-aunt of Barufiniel (aka Varnafindë)

We won't kill nami off! Nobody will be killed off unless the "owner" of the character especially asks for it - and even then we'll suggest that they change their mind and let us just "carry" their character for them ...

We can "carry" nami - like, Baru will mention that she talks to some of the others and say that nami is one of them - that will show that nami is still travelling with the group, even though she doesn't speak for a while.
