Very close . Though the cloak reference actually takes place right before Frodo and Sam get reading to try and sprint pass the gate before it closes. Right after the rock. *hint hint *

Well, the question you state is "Why is Sam a rock?" so, the answer has to begin with "Because..." etcetera, right? I am uncertain a to how to answer the question. I think it must be time for me to watch my DVDs again; it's been a while. *thinksthinks*

Ohh no, Tessa you got confused with my clue. Thye original question was:

What group do you see ready for war but never see in a fight?

The clues were:

Why is Sam a rock?
&
"I dont even think these elvish cloaks wil hide us in there"

It was in reference to which part of the film you actually see the group. Sorry for the confusion.

So, you want to know the name of the group that was ready for war? I'm very confused as to what exactly your trivia question is, Farimir. Please reword the whole question anew; can you do that? Start again? It's gotten too off-track at this point.

There is a group a warriors you see in the film going to Mordor to fight in the war but you never see them fight. Who are they?

The group ready for war, marching into the Black Gate, were the Haradrim, the Easterners; is that what you're looking for?

" What group do you see ready for war but never see in a fight? "

Those easterners, who were marching on the Black Gate, and two of them went to check out the noise Sam made as he tumbled off the embankment, but Frodo pulled his cloak over himself & Sam, so the two Easterner guys didn't see them?

O.K. cool! But now I have to think of a new movie trilogy question; you guys have any idea how hard that is to do at this point? All the good movie trivia questions have already been asked. Oh, drat. *thinksthinksthinks*

*keeps thinking*

*thinks*

Ummm...

*thinks*

Can I get back to you guys on this? I need to review my DVDs again, it seems.

O.K., here's a quickie - who provided the voice of Treebeard? No checking you guys; if you're really a fan you'll remember the answer right off the top of your head.

Okay, this might take a rewatching of the films but here it goes:

I've noticed that Aragorn likes to play the queen(haha) and "off with their head!" Through the entire trilogy, not the EE, how many times does he cut someones head off?

This is a good trivia questrion, Farimir; I'm impressed. I have to think about the answer more, now - he decapitated TWO guys by the end of Fellowship? Right, the one Uruk-hai guy, and then who's the other unlucky poor bastard? I have to mull this one over for a while... good question!

the forces of evil men and orcs going to strengthen sauron's forces...entering when sam falls, they go past because they look like a rock, than i believe sam says that they hide them quite well, and frodo says it won't hide them in there...

Ahhhh, I see now. The thing is that may have came from the book. In the movie Sam says:
"I dont even think these elvish cloaks will hide us in there."
Then Frodo replys:
" I do not ask you to come with me Sam."
Sam says:
"I know Mr. Frodo."
They get ready to run for the closing gate when Smeagol stops them and says they will get caught.

Anyway, Lotesse got it right and we moved on and the new question is now:

Through the entire trilogy, not the EE, how many times does Aragorn cut someones head off?
