I got my tea;
They'd just have to pout.
But it was not my relatives
That were without.

Are you referring to Bilbo Baggins and his Dwarvish visitors?

Gimli

I followed the sun
my people followed me
we were trying to escape
and find a better place to be
we didn't escape,
but we did find a home
and I am related
to the ranger Aragorn

Should be pretty easy, but its been a while, and I'm Back

I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

Beor: Elendil, Isildur, Anarion? Ar-Pharazon and the men who were trying to escape from Deaths shadow? Beren? Tuor or Turin?

I was thinking it is the original Beor. Wasn't he the first man to enter Beleriand? Dang, I may have to go look it up.

Yeah, Keith, you got it, Beor it is. Good job, sorry if it was vague due to the fact that everyone is pretty much an ancestor of Aragorn, but hell, its a riddle. Good job though.

Gotta get things moving on this thread again! I have one to offer for now. There's another I've got started, but having a hard time with the finish - should come soon though. For now:

I stood tall and white,
Though I was not a tower.
Crystal peak shining bright,
Sign of golden king's power.

OK - not as good as I was hoping, but here's the second:

Father and grandpa both died in the war,
King at a young age, I settled the score!
With the aid of an Elf-Lord, I drove back the host,
Then reigned many years, from my northerly post.

(EDIT: changed 'help' and 'ruled' to "aid" and "reigned" for purely poetic reasons )
