Haley is gorgeous. Just about makes me question my sexuality.

Wait, what? Oh so you'll watch Supernatural, but you won't watch Buffy? Hmph.

I've watched a bit, but it has the distinct disadvantage of not featuring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.

It seems the majority of the Supernatural viewers are watching it for the eye-candy.

Well, it may be that someday, many, many years from now, you'll hear one of Ms. Dolly's songs and remember your childhood fondly. I had that same experience with Neil Diamond's "September Morn".

My brother and I used to wake up to my mom screeching it down the hallway because she knew that it would get us out of bed and on the way to getting ready for school. "September mooorn! We danced until the night became a brand new day! Two lovers played the scenes from some romantic play! September mornings still can make me feel that way!"

I don't think she knew any more of that song.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd find it really annoying if she started singing it now, but remembering it is very nice and I find I do not mind Mr. Diamond's version.

Aww. Dolly Parton. A guy who graduated from my university went on tour with her... he was her piano accompanist.

Well... just wiped out almost my entire savings account, buuuuut the summer semester is paid for, and it looks like I'll be able to work almost every day during this spring break. So maybe I can rebuild that savings account a little.

Plus my new study techniques are paying off, so it looks like I don't need to completely drop all of my internet activities. For a while I was just checking FB for a few minutes a day. So huzzah for 'moot time again.

Oh, side note....

Does ANYONE know what movie this is from?

It's a bit where someone is speaking, and a guy reaches over and pinches the other person's lips (I think it might be a girl?) and says something like, "Aaa. Tss-tss.... don't speak."

It's not from Dumb and Dumber, where he puts his finger on her lips, but it's sort of like that scene. I've been trying to remember what movie it's from for over a month now and it's driving me crazy.

Hooray for things going well!

Do you know what kind of movie it was from? can you give a general description of anything about it?

Yes, this is a bit too general.

Yeah. Do you have any idea what happens next, like is it a romantic moment (a kiss might come next), or a fearful moment (maybe they run away), or what?

Romantic? I was thinking something like a Tarantino torture scene.

Well, you're a boy and I'm a girl. That's how we differ.

What Tessar described:
Quote:
...someone is speaking, and a guy reaches over and pinches the other person's lips (I think it might be a girl?) and says something like, "Aaa. Tss-tss.... don't speak."
You hear torture and I hear romance. Can we take a poll and see what reaction was more popular?

Who heard what? Tell us!

And if you know what movie this is from tell us that too.

I hear it as a firm but friendly "Shut up."
But I have no idea about the movie.

I heard it as an emotionally charged (and probably rather artsy) drama.

You guys are ridiculous. I think it was a comedy. If not a straight out comedy, then a silly movie. It was definitely supposed to be funny, NOT romantic or dramatic.

I almost feel like it was something Jack Sparrow did in one of the POTC movies, but I haven't seen those in so long (and have no desire to go watch them again...) that I can't be sure.

-raises hand- I do, but the story lines are pretty good most times. My husband got me into watching it. Dean is quite halirious

Sounds like The Princess Bride

I could be wrong. Can describe the scene or at least who was in it, if you can?

Hmmmm... pretty sure it's not Princess Bride.

I wish I could tell you more about the scene. I would think it was just me being crazy, but at LEAST one other person knows what I'm talking about. My violin teacher and I both remember that scene, but neither one of us can remember what it's from or much context for it.

Clearly, there is only one thing to do.

Drop all your classes, and spend a semester carefully re-watching all possible candidates.
