Oh! I just missed her. Well listen, you guys, all you here who are into photography like Justin, Grey Wolf, Thain & Meriadoc, littleadanel and me, and Earniel & trolls' bane and Nurvingiel too because I know you guys like to take pictures, too, we should be sharing advice and tips and our photographs and things like that, over there in Jersey Devil's old photography thread! What do you guys think? You can upload your pics with ImageShack; that's what I do anyway. Shah taught me about ImageShack. Want some coffee? Lemme have that caramel there. Is there any more pie left? Or cake? Or cookies, any more cookies?

I'm gonna go out and take some photographs today. It's a beautiful southern California spring day; ideal for photography. Ciao, guys!

Really Random. Sorry!

Alrighty everyone that happens to read this post, I am about to ask something really random and possibly very stupid. But...Here it goes.

What is the point of the Teacup Cafe? I might be asking something that is generally understood in the Entmoot, but I am new and am still trying to get the hang of this. I was looking for a place to park a post and stumbled upon the Cafe. Now all I am wondering is it's purpose of being here.

Please forgive my ignorance.
(I really can't help it though. I mean, I am trying to survive high school at the moment. <- is what it does to me.)

Arr! Gotta go & look around for caramel tomorrow!

That's already two things to do. Better write a to-do list, hmm...

- arrive on time to class.
- go & get the sticker validating my student ID for this semester.
- go to the library, for the book my mum needs. Oh, and to pay for being late with giving back the books.
- take pics.
- look for caramel.
- put pics on the comp & show them here.

Whew.

Oh! and GW, did you mean this?
Indeed.

I think its a place to "park" random posts. There is no topic thats off topic (correct me if im wrong, Lotesse). Its just a place to have fun and eat and drink vertual(sp) goodies. Welcome to the Moot!

What's a dl? Is it like a cup, or a pound? (Though a pound sounds like way to much.)
Sounds good.

Of course there's more cookies! Food never runs out here. (Okay, maybe it runs out if the kitchen is raided by a band of hungry hobbits. )

Hehe, Grey Wolf has translated a Swedish recipe into English but he has kept all the Swedish units. Since I love apple pies as much as I love blueberry pies, I'll explain the recipe. No offense GW

1 dl stands for 1 decilitre (1/10 of a litre) which is about 2/5 of a cup.
1 tsk is, as GW said, a teaspoonfull. It's also known as 1 tsp in English
125-250 grammes of butter would be about 4-8 oz, I'd say.
175º Celsius would be about 350º Farenheit.
"Ligth cream" is supposed to be "light cream" . By that GW means low-fat cream.

Here's the recipe again so every mooter will be able to enjoy what seems to be a delicious apple cake. I'm eager to try this recipe myself since it's been a long time since I had apple cake
