I think I saw "Laughing One" suggested somewhere. Or perhaps we should just rename him Lalaith?

I won't have much time for the 'moot until Friday, so my campaign will be a bit neglected.

Actually, there's a Lalaith here as well. And I was of course only joking. Wouldn't dream of naming him Lalaith.

Is it possible to make the poll so you can only vote when you're logged in? Then you would only be able to vote once, as I noticed for the ROTK poll in the movie forum. Then we could see who's winning and make it a bit more exciting.

Actually, the PM an account idea is pretty good.

(tentative)We will make an account and people can pm their votes to it.

Voting would probably be open for atleast a week, solving the time zone problem.

Why not have this all end in april?

That is only now what, about 1 1/2 months away?

-candidates not set in stone
-rules not yet officially announced and still very tentative
-no debates or anything have been held yet.
-the campaigning has not even officially begun
-voting process would last atleast a week

Someone may have said this before, but we could also have a poll. (Unless you can submit multiple times.) The "Rate RotK" poll was pretty successful though.

It will be considered when we set the debates.

I'm fine with that; I see no reason to rush through it anyway.

But another issue: will voting for multiple candidates be tolerated? Or will all Fal/Hector/Nurv supporters just have to narrow it down to oneHectorBerlioz!?

I think most of the Fal/Hector/Nurv supportes have one main candidate to vote for. I'm a supporter of all three but the main candidate I support is Fal.

How is that an issue? Of course not! All qualified voters will only be able to vote for one candidate.
