My avatar is an illustration of Feanor holding a Silmaril....I drew it myself although it looks sooooooo much better in person! The picture itself is alot bigger I just have a little view from it.

Mine is a cute baby dragon.

I chose it because it reminded me of a dragon character in a German book (Drachen haben Nichts zu lachen, but I doubt you've heard of it since it's not exactly famous.) His name is Klemens.
