Yes, I can deffinatly see how it would be boring for those not interested in Japanese culture. I have always been interested in it, and am planning to go to Japan (hopefully). I have many Japanese relatives in Hawaii, that's where I saw the ceremony first, with my aunt. Thanks for the article Spock!

It is doubtful they ever attended or had one although I know they did have a ceremony of the tea.

You probably won't. Now, I'm off to prepare supper. Try not to hurt each other while I'm gone.

*wakes up, and notices that four pages ago, no one was actually talking about moonshine, which is totally what he thought Rian was implying*
Eh, I wonder what would happen if a health inspecter were to walk into this cafe. The manager is never around and people are falling asleep and waking up to brawls and force-battles and knocking themselves into poolside comas. BTW, we have a pool? What else do we have, and how many floors is this place now? ---- My Sensei told me a story about one time that he went to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. It was in Japan. He had gone there with his own Sensei to be introduced to a few of his Sensei's old friends, from whom he hoped to deepen his understanding of Aikido and also Japanese culture. For a while before all this, my Sensei had been progressing well in Aikido, but he refused to even look into the art of Iaido, which is more or less its parent art, the art of the sword that was practiced by the samurai. His Sensei couldn't convince him that it was necessary for complete mastery of Aikido, and so at this tea ceremony, one of the men suddenly presented him with is own sword. So then my Sensei thought "oh... ****." Of course he couldn't turn it down, so his Sensei just laughed at him and for the next year he remained in Japan studying Iaido under that same man.

*Pulls Sane over to sit with her* I agree, no more rough stuff, is not good for you. Or them. Have some- wait, do you still not like tea? Or was that just a by product of the honey incident?
Ah well, have some anyway, or a mocha, we've still got some around here somewhere.
