Indeed. And I couldn't agree more about it being the best vampire film ever!

Last film I saw.. Belive it was The Blues Brothers, and The Grudge. The Grudge was quite dull, not very scary at all. Just a bit creepy now and then. Blues Brothers on the other hand. Maybe my fav movie, think the one I've seen most.

Agreed. Though I find the first one so much better than 2000...

Yep, Dan did a reasonable revival without sacrificing the truism of the the orignal Blues Brothers.

On the lighter side...

Saturday - first ever all-family theater experience. Wife and I took the boys (ages 3, 5 & 7) to see Curious George! We all loved it!

That's out already? I really want to see Curious George! He was one of my favourite, favourite book characters as a toddler, and plus Drew Barrymore does voice in the movie - can't wait to see it.

Derailed.

A refreshing thriller I thought. First time in a while that I cared about the lead character's outcome.

Last movie I saw was Woody Allen's Match Point, a pretty nice movie (though not as good as I'd expected), and today I'm going to watch Good night, and good luck.

Cool. Tell me how that is. I wanted to see it on the big screen, but of course it isn't stupid enough for any of my friends or nearby theatres.

I watched Four Brothers again the other day, because my brother rented it. That was awesome, esspecially for a simple revenge movie. And one of the brothers is played by Andre 3,000, which is apparently the stage name for one of the guys in Outcast. You'd never guess it, he's such a good actor.

It's Outkast, and he's Andre 3000.

Andre Benjamin (Dre, Andre 3000) and Antwan Patton (Big Boi) attended the same high school in the Atlanta borough of East Point, and several lyrical battles made each gain respect for the other's skills. They formed OutKast.

North Country

An engrossing story. You feel for the lead character, but it's been done too many times before.

Walk the Line

Quite good. Congrats on the leads for learning to sing. Some very magical scenes. Just not terribly exciting.

Pride and Prejudice

Were I less of a cynic, I may have had a tear to shed. Keira Knightley is teh hawtness though. It just didn't have enough emotional impact, but I suppose that is me more than the film.

I felt that it would have been a better movie if Keira hadn't been in it. She spent more time trying to make a sexy-pouty face than anything else.

finally watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (i know, i know, I'm so behind the time)

That eternal sunshine movie was an excruciating excersice in temper control for me, man. What banal inanity. I cannot stand Jim friggin' Carrey. Ace Ventura was amusing; I liked that O.K., but then that was it. That flick was so pretentious.

I saw this great little movie called New Waterford Girl. Man that was a good movie. Starred Natalie Portman, set in Canada. I really loved it. An UNpretentious movie it was.

I think Keira Knightly is absolutely captivating. She has a long and illustrious career ahead of her, no doubt. God, she is gorgeous.
