Oh good, I was getting worried. I told Aeran to stay away, but you never know. He is not a tame tiger you see.
Nice to see you
The tavern on EF isn't a big succes though, I wonder why.

So you mentioned that you protect this place... from whom? And will you keep doing it? I mean, I don't have a Stick of Wrath (tm) or any other weapon.

Lief isn't trying to blow the place up again, is he?

I protect this place. Now that I'm head of the CIA, I have law-enforcement Buniculas lurking behind every couch...using all the up-to-date technology: blackberries, hydro-electric razor-sharp earatory surveillence mechanisms, and chain-link armor.

Haha, you see, I have a funny story about that.
I had just returned to Entmoot from one of my long absence spells (the last major one I had a few years ago), and I get this PM the day I come back asking me about whether or not I'd heard about Lief trying to blow it up.

Ahh...good ole' Lief... I think we still have Lief clones running around here somewhere...

Protecting it from these loonies. I protect against loonies and snooty people in general. That and I also ward off boredom and static threads, as well as low turn out and dull moments. I'm also non polarizing too, never lean too far in either direction. Still want me around?

Yes, that's perfect! Of course I want you around. Hector can protect everyone, and you can protect everyone from Hector (and also other menaces).

Exactly what hector is protecting them from is as yet unknown, if I didn't know better, I'd say he's just being a pest.

What I'd like to ask though, is what happened to Leroy? No offense to this new tiger that's been introduced, but what happened to our mascot liger?

Oh, he and Obnavat are still very much around. Leroy has his family, and Obnavat is still in the imperial forces. I'll call them when there is need, but at the moment they are chilling with their family and the Kraken in our wildlife/garden area.

HECTOR! I told you before: don't you be messing with Bunicula! Or with his rather large family that I have been breeding... I'm warning you: I will not allow mistreatment, abuse or use of Bunicula. Period.

What do I hear about a liger? Is that misspelled or is it a new species like Bunicula? You think he'd make a nice friend for Aeran? I mean, it must be lonely being the last living sabertooth tiger around.

A liger is a lion-tiger hybrid.

Is it a button for you, or a link?
I bet it works like a checkmark type of think, where it marks all the threads that you want to quote.

The multi-quote button, which does not yet seem to have an icon (it's a link for me) is so you can quote multiple posts at once. As you read through a thread and see posts you'd like to reply to, you can click on Multi-quote below the post. Then when you add your reply, all those posts will be quoted in the text box, where you can easily add comments.

Instead of hitting quote and having it immediately open a reply text box, it allows you to select multiple posts first.

Yep, then you just hit 'post reply' to get all the quotes.

Sane, I have to tell you that even though our relationship is...uh, sturdy...I don't think I'm willing to be treated as a mere pet.
