Thanks for the welcome Valandil. It is good to see you again too!

As an active player in middle-earth’s affairs
of all that happens I am aware.
I gather my news from different streams
and render my will through commanding dreams.

Rosie's #2 on the previous page... plus we don't have word whether our solutions to her other ones are correct.

You're welcome to spin your own!

Sorry fer not gettin' back to ye!!

In the first post 1 is indeed Merry in Bree, 2 is Weathertop, and 3 is the Elves of Mirkwood.
In the second post Beorn is right for #1. #2 and #3 haven't been guessed yet. I'll re-post 'em:

#2
I got my tea;
They'd just have to pout.
But it was not my relatives
That were without.

#3
Battle-scarred, time-worn
I lay there still.
Many hands my insides adorn
Belong to those they came to kill.
I am found among a ruin
My insides described aloud
My words are yet repeated
And the fear of them enshroud.

Sorry again about not posting!!

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

Rosie, Beor guessed 'barrow downs' for this one on 12-10... was that correct.

No need to apologize. We appreciate you posting the challenges!

I don't know if this has been guessed before, but is it the Book of Mazarbul?
