They're not posted on the same day, the first post of the 3rd Teacup is a copy of the 2nd café's opening post. I hazard a guess this is because the 2nd thread was split and so the third had no first poss of its own so it was copied.

That being said... I must begin to pack!

I'll be in and out today but I won't be around at all tomorrow... I will be in a hire car and then in an airport and airplane and then another airport and then my friend's car as she drives me home....

Coffeehouse and the Magical Traffic Light

Everyday when I come biking happily and without bother towards where I live I have to pass a busy carroad which has a cross-over for pedestrians with a traffic light. When I am coming from my University and in the direction of where I live the road goes upwards towards a hill where I live and really I need all the momentum I can get to go upwards without dying of fatigue

Yet every single, time, and I mean, truly!, EVERY single time I approach that traffic light it switches from red to green, sending all the cars on the road to a halt and letting me ride across it like a spoiled kid

It's starting to freak me out and I'm wondering if the traffic light has a crush on me or if it generally just likes helping cyclists up the labourous hill ahead. But it seems very unique because in many instances I approach the light and I see people going my way standing there, waiting.. for the green light and then I come along and what do ya know!, a brilliantly green radiation glows upon the scene.

My question: Is it luck or divine intervention by the Traffic God?
