Tin of caramel? Wonder if such thing is sold here. All I know is the many types of caramel candies. Some of those have glued my teeth together, though.

My lil' butterfly buddy is out in the garden with all the others. Couldn't be happier.

Today it was a beautiful sunny day here! It seems spring is arriving at last, I discovered the first flowers in the garden

*munches on cookie offered by Thain; gets some more caramel too*

That's one of the things i love in the Teacup. I can eat anything, anytime.

That photo? I was on the 22nd floor of a high-rise hotel, and this was one of the hotels which has giant picture windows yet will actually open, so if one happened to feel suicidal or whatnot it's an ideal place to go.

Check in to check out! Sorry, couldn't resist. Usually, these fancy high-rises seal their wndows shut; not this place. So I was up at like 5 am, real crack of dawn, and had my new dig cam which I was dying to put to good photo opp use. I was a real Margaret Bourke-White renegade trooper about it; hanging far out that window in all sorts of weird angles and precarious ways, just to get as many of these shots of the city that I could. I got quite a few that I'm pleased with, even without a high-powered special zoom lens or adequate technical knowledge.

That's exactly how I would describe myself & my little digital camera...

Maybe, if it's sunny tomorrow, I'll go around the town and take some pics; all this talk about photography makes me want to take photos myself. I have only one class tomorrow, from 8-9:30am, so afterwards the whole day is mine.

If you do, littleadanel, please show us some of your pictures!! I love your hometown; it's so beautiful where you are, and I love seeing pictures of Eastern Europe, anyway. I ike to show my boyfriend. He knows where all the little towns and cultural monuments are.

I've gotten a Nikon digital camera too. And bought painting stuff today to begin my amateur career as a painter/photographer.

BTW, what far am i supposed to be able to see with a 3 zoom lens or more correctly how far away can an object be without turning fuzzy.

You & I have the same hobbies! Hey, you know, there's a Photography thread here at Entmoot. I believe Anduril started it. We should put up pics and talk about photography tips and stuff like that, over there, sometime. All of us with cameras here who dabble!
