If it means to fake interest / orgasm then it makes perfect sense.

I thought I'd almost come over my phonephobia, but I just started hyperventilating after putting the phone down, so I guess not.

Sorry about that, Mari. Phone phobia is a real hassle.
May I just say: *whiny voice* I don't wanna go to school all day, then go to work, then back to school to do several hours of math study to get ready for the test. I DON'T WANNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAA . Okay I feel way better now. I don't wanna, but it's a privilege to be this busy because I get to go to school, and I have a great job teaching piano to kids, and I am going to do AWESOME on this math test because this time around I'm really going to apply myself. .... >.> but I don't waaaaaannnnnnaaaaa. |

OH THAT'S RIGHT: I'm going to school so that I can get a degree that qualifies me to get MORE SCHOOL that I'll pay $40,000+ on in the hopes that it lands me some kind of job as a performer before I realize that I have no actual talent and return to doing what I got my undergrad for.
Silly me. *frustrated* |

Ah okay
I have a headache that is literally making me see cross-eyed when moving my head too much. I did part 1 one of my homework, but I think the rest will have to wait. This is not going to work.

I went to the specialist for my throat this morning and I ended up with 3 new appointments and a nosespray. One appointment for the results of an allergy-test (I got my blood drawn immediately so I don't have to come back for that thank heavens), one for a CT-scan and another for a logopedist (someone whose job it is to correct your breathing and speech and stuff, not sure what the word is in English).
The doc stuck a camera down my nose and into my throat, that was nasty! >_< *sigh*

My computer's broken. And when I finally, albeit very temporarily, manage to get it started at all, the internet's down anyway.
I desperately need a new machine.

Vent :
Stupid truck driver!!! Last week, I negotiated a great deal for a new Chevy Suburban primarily for my husband - our old one had a very hard time with our toy hauler (a trailer that holds quads inside) going up hills and at altitude and off-road (and we go waaay off road!). We bought a new 2009 3/4 ton with 4 wheel drive and the big engine (instead of 1/2 ton, 2 wheel drive and the smaller engine) and left that day to go camping at altitude and off-road, and it did GREAT!!!! His smile just got bigger and bigger. So this weekend, he decided to take the boys for a half day quad trip while my daughter and I had some girl time. He's pulling off the 2-lane highway to the quad area, and POW!!!! He got rear-ended by a tanker truck. And not just any tanker truck - one that had been driving like an idiot (according to our witnesses that came back to help, thank God!) and hauling - guess what? - SULFURIC ACID! The witnesses had watched him drive like an idiot while they were coming up behind us, then as my husband slowed to turn, they passed us, and she said, "That truck will never slow down in time - he's gonna hit them!" and they looked back and saw it. They turned around and came back to help. The truck driver gets out and starts yelling at my husband, saying his turn signals weren't on - like that MATTERS?!?! (and the witnesses say they WERE on - that's why they knew to pass us) - didn't even ask if everyone was OK (they were, thank God, although my younger son's phone shot out of his hand). The trailer actually tore the hitch assembly off the Suburban as it flipped, and the Burb spun but didn't flip. This was a week-old Suburban, a 3 month old quad, a year old toy hauler, and two 2-year-old quads - thrashed. The trailer is totally ruined, but they might try to just bang out the Burb and give it back. If that's so, I'm gonna fight it!!! I want new everything back - they had a negligent driver with a toxic load, fer cryin' out loud, that hit us in broad daylight and great road conditions - like he somehow didn't see a 27-foot trailer?! Grrrr!!!!!! And here I lecture our 18-yr-old son about driving a heavier truck - how you have to be careful with a heavy truck because you can really hurt someone if you hit them. And my son doesn't haul sulfuric acid, either, although it can get toxic after eating chili when we're camping I guess the truck driver's mama didn't sit him down and give him that talk And it's camping season right now, and we're gonna miss a lot of it now. They better do right by us, or I'll fight it big time!!!!

Glad your family is all right after that mess, Rian! Good luck getting the rest of it worked out... sounds like you have a pretty solid case though.
Vent: Today was a cold and yucky day. Ow yuck, weather yuck, dealing with finances yuck, just an all around gross monday. Blech.

WOW. O_o I'm sorry about all of that, Rian. That's... really horrible. I hope you get everything back, because that is seriously crappy... particularly the driver's attitude. Wow. That just amazes me.
My vent is very minor, but also extremely gross. At least to me. I just freaked out and spent an hour in the bathroom with a flashlight and one of those dental syringes trying to get SOMETHING out of my tonsils. I almost made myself throw up a few times by accidentally triggering my gag reflex. Turns out (assuming one can trust the almighty google) that I had/have a tonsil stone, probably due to my having mucus running down my throat for the past week or so. I got most of the stone out, but there's still some of it stuck to my tonsil... but it's problematic because it's on the part that vanishes up behind your soft pallet if you move your throat at all, and I know better than to go 'digging' back there even with a qtip. But no freaking way was I going to sleep knowing that thing was just sitting there on the back of my tonsils. *SHUDDER* I only realized it was there because I've had a sore throat for two days, but only on the left side of my throat and it hasn't killed my singing voice entirely. So I was getting a really good look at the back of my throat with a flashlight, and noticed that both of my tonsils were really swollen but only one of them was really red... on the left side. Then I kind of 'yawned' and I SAW IT. Talk about a mild panic attack. I thought I had something lodged inside the roof of my mouth for a second, when I realized that it was on the tonsil and not -in- the tonsil. Allergies suck. My body is disgusting. Oh my, Rian!
You've got a very good reason to be angry! I hope they will not be difficult about compensating you entirely.
