Yay! Finished my assignments! Now all I have left to do, is writing my internship report (due Friday) and my MA-thesis (due end of July).
And then I'll be done with university. Phew. Finally.

Ok, it's been ups and downs, but I'm going to go ahead and post in the happy thread now because it's up enough now and because it's it more happy.
My cat has a cut on his tail, a nasty one, that I've been working on getting fixed for the past 48 hours, almost without sleep since yesterday morning. The hardest part is that it is expensive and I am pretty much out of money. But, fortunately, when I took him in today, his wound was not as bad as I had thought, and should heal fine. So yay for that. And. Ok so now you know I'm tired and also I haven't eaten much because of no time and stress. So I decided to go to 7-eleven which is the only food place within walking distance. So I go and get a frozen pizza and a banana, and as I go to leave I see it's pouring down rain. Like total downpour. With thunder. Loud thunder. Risking life and limb, I walked home through it, and it was awesome. I love having an excuse to walk through the rain. And, best of all, I didn't get struck by lightning. So now I have my life and my frozen pizza to look forward to. Let's hope things stay on the bright side.

I have just made the potentially poor decision that tomorrow I am getting a haircut. I am not supposed to cut my hair till mid-October (when the opera ends) but after careful consideration I have decided to say HECK WITH THAT and tomorrow I am getting my hair cut nice and short
 .There is no point in suffering a summer of disgusting hair when I know that none of my friends are going to follow the order of no hair cutting either . Just this once, I will not be the good little boy who follows orders to the letter .Since my features are so 'small' (I have a 'delicate face' whatever that means  ) I would start to look like a girl if my hair gets much longer... and that's not okay. |

Wow, so many things seem to go just right in my life right now. I'm a bit overwhelmed, very grateful and incredibly happy!
Tessar, I don't know how anyone could ever say you look like a girl, because you definitely don't. Not in any of the pictures I've ever seen of you. Though admittedly, none of those pictures featured you with long hair.

When I had my hair short, some people thought maybe I was a boy. I had to go out of my way to dress more feminine. I don't think I have a particularly boyish face or anything. But maybe my dress and mannerisms are masculine.

Always good to have a haircut you feel good about. I hate it when I don't like the way my hair looks, even if other people tell me it looks fine.

Hey Tessar, how's your diet going? Are you still sticking to it?
My weight loss activities are going well I guess. I don't have a scale but I can tell a difference already in my arms/shoulders and legs. Also I feel stronger, which I didn't really expect. I don't look like an old lady when I try to stand up from a chair anymore. It's really easy now.

I loosened up on it considerably, because I lost a bunch of weight and it didn't take anything off of my waistline. I'm not really drinking soda though, and I am indeed still eating in a healthy manner... I just decided to stop obsessing about it because obviously watching my weight so carefully was not having the desired result of making my dang pants fit better. >.<

Happy!!!
just finished up a not-long-enough-vacation at one of the most beautiful places on earth, Yosemite National Park, and am currently visiting friends and family in California, where I lived my whole life before I moved to the EEEEVIL state of Arizona  . And I saw a MOONBOW at Lower Yosemite falls!!!! Sooooo cool!!!!! (this pic doesn't do it justice - it's like a shimmery, ghostly-sparkly white rainbow with hints of color) It's kinda like the ghost of a rainbow - or, being a Tolkien board, the fëa of a rainbow ... My sister got some long-exposure pics - I'll post 'em when she sends them to me.
