*hands Maro a pillow and a blanket and steas her towards a quiet spot in the Café*

Yay for exhausting internships, I reckon?

Hmm, yes, today was fun.
It's hectic but I don't regret becoming an intern anymore.

We'll have been together for 3 years in July. Married for 2 in October.

At least someone was paying attention lol

Seems I work in two departments now. Not only do I work Photo Lab but I also work toys. Toys keeps us busy since it always looks like a tornado went through it. The manager before mine took over didn't run the department very well. As least we have it halfway strightened up now. Still needs a lot of work

Quite well, thank you. It was a productive day, I've managed to solve a few issues our recalcitrant computers were having and helped my mother with making a new covering for a seat.

Nice! Solving things always makes me feel good

Making new coverings... is that difficult?

Acally, I got a Christmas card with you and your hubby looking very happy. It was a bit hard to miss

Definitely Varna, Quickleaf is probably insanely mad at me for letting him be stuck in that House of Prayer in Dorwinion for 5 months

I didn't get the opportunity in Xmas to drop by since I was trekking around in southern Africa in the vacation and from january and onwards I've just been in a state of constant shock about my Masters The university has taken over my life!

But after easter I'm free as a bird again having finished a lot of work ahead of time so that I can enjoy the spring (and now the Moot!) properly

So it does! But I'm guessing they'll be coming up with something new and problematic quick enough, they always do...

Depends on the model. This seat cover is basically like a tight-fitting pillow-case, which is very easy to make on a sewing machine. Fitting it back together was a bit more difficult because we needed to get the holes in the cover and filling lined up to put the screws in.

Amazing, students who have finished work in advance, they exist!

It'll be fun to have you back in the game, though.

Hehe yeah we're a rare breed jk But in seriousness I have three articles in three different courses, int. political economy, research method&design and east asian politics due in the first week of May so finishing them ahead of schedule is a matter of necessity Or I'll die of grief when the sun comes out and the grass turns green and I'm stuck inside

Looking forward to RPG'ing in Long Lost Leaves again, I will have to read up on the story though because I haven't for 5 months now and I bet you guys are way into the darkest dungeons of the Iron Hills or something

Ain't that the truth. I've only just finished my final paper due tomorrow. I have yet to start the one due on Tuesday, and yet here I am on the 'Moot!

Doing research on ecological ethics. And I came across this quote: "Few ideas have been recycled as often as the belief that the 'Is' of nature must become the 'Ought' of man". Couldn't agree more.

And the pope should ready himself for criminal prosecution before he sets foot on English soil.

On a related note . . .

Everyone concentrates on the "leering old villain in a frock," but of course, really, the best part by far is:
Quote:
He should remain in charge of the whole rotten edifice - the whole profiteering, woman-fearing, guilt-gorging, truth-hating, child-raping institution - while it tumbles, amid a stench of incense and a rain of tourist-kitsch sacred hearts and preposterously crowned virgins, about his ears.

That was great. I particularly liked the jaguar.

Barkeep! Champagne! A round of champagne for everyone! I have finished my last paper for the semester!

*celebrates*

I get the feeling that's his platform, whether he's running or not (which he has made very clear to us that he's not).
