Or perhaps an industrial handheld laser that can burn through an inch of metal in seconds. Imagine what it can do to a human!

LOL! My rayguns are more than you might think. But no thanks. I've already got a Tenloss DX-7 Disruptor rifle with a spotting scope.

Ahh but this is 7.2 version...let us say the engineers who designed the modifications on this weapon will no be heard from in a long time.

Over the last two days, I watched an anime called Escaflowne. I really, really liked it. I thought the story was superb, the characters were fascinating, the flow was excellent. However, the ending was COMPLETELY unsatisfying. I mean, I've seen worse endings, but only by a hair's breadth, and not after spending 10 hours watching something, and it REALLY annoys me. I feel like I have to salvage the end somehow, but I can't. Arrrrgh!!!

Microsoft's badly translated message boxes are somewhat amusing if they weren't as obnoxiously annoying at the same time.

I got their silly anti-piracy check update today: Blablabla we big brother, want to check whether your software isn't pirated blablabla no updates for you otherwise blablabla (it's oh so very friendly to treat all your customers as crooked software-thieves, but then again microsoft has never been known for their manners exactly either. But this is a whole other rant, really.)

But then at the end of their sermon it said: 'click this box if you want to see some benefits of illegally obtained software.'

If illegal software has benefits, why bother whining about how my software should be legally obtained? You don't bother to reread those messages before you program them, eh?

I know exactly what you mean, Gwai.

I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Hoooooly cow, now THAT was an AMAZING anime for the first 3/4ths of the thing.

Then the ending... both the one that was shown on TV, and the one the artist came up with later, were a pile of nonsense. And I do mean nonsense. My sisters and I were simply forced to scratch our heads in puzzlement, because NEITHER of the endings made -any- sense!

Grrr...in all likelihood I'm going to have to take a remedial algebra course over the summer, before I can on to junior year.

Also, my twenty-second birthday is coming up. This is bad because A) my driver's license expires then, so I have to work on getting a new one pretty quickly, and B) it feels like I've hit the point where all a birthday means is that I'm one year older...

Don't worry, Gwai.

Maybe your soul mate (or at least a good poker player) will be in the algebra, if you have to take it.

And B) comes and goes, mostly.

LOL TB. I laughed out loud at "Tarantino."
