I really don't think this is a fair question as you have said it is in the E.V. of the film and not everyone owns that....perhaps a question based upon the *film* itself and not some 'added features' would be more appropriate. It's not like the books where anyone who owns ROTK has an appendix.

How about it?

Would this be the second character of the first film or the second character of the fellowship?

after all I posted in the topic with the title above.

okay.... well the second character of the fellowship to appear is Gandolf. The second character(s) to appear in the film are the seven dwarves who recieve the rings. Don't know thier names.

REPEATING: The name of this topic is:

Lord of the Rings Movies ; lotr trilogy trivia .

so I'm afraid you aren't correct yet.

BTW, I just re-watched in case my memory had faded.....it hadn't.

No need to get fussy. I know which thread I'm in. Since there are so many "second to appear" I'll just continue to guess. Legolas was the second character to appear ot the council.

Ahhh :light bulb lights up over head: this could be in reference to the power of the three. In this case, wouldn't it be Elrond? That is if Gandolf is holding the one he had in the book but i don't recall it ever being mentioned in the movie, but, what do i know.

ah ah ah, my friend, elrond was not the first wearer of his ring! if it was he, than it would be gil-galid that we see, for when he went to war he left elrond to guard his realm and his ring...

toche Elrond did go to war though, he was there at the foot of Mt. Doom. In which case you would still be correct in saying it is Galadrial

YES.

The movie begins in darkness with the voice over of Galadriel. The very first picture after the blackness is of The Three, Elrond, Galadriel and Celeborn. So any one of those three could be "the Second Character" depending upon which your eye picked out first. In my case I saw Galadriel first and Elrnond second.

GOOD GOING DURINSBANE2244-YOU GO.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I looked again and it looks to me like Elrond and Galadriel, the third person I wasn't sure who it was..so perhaps gil galad but in any event Elrond was one of them.

It was probably Cirdan.
