Hear hear fellow travellers!!
Of journeying the benefits are many: the freshness it bringeth to the heart, the seeing and hearing of marvelous things, the delight of beholding new cities, the meeting of unknown friends, and the learning of high manners. Well, I don't know about the high manners part, but we're making an effort:P Who's up for some Thoroughly Lost Leaves of Great Length? I am! Or Quickleaf is! Tho he can't see any Leaves as of yet. Maybe he can smell them..

Oh dear. That is soooo wrong, and yet soooo fitting.
Anyway, I have moved us a little forward to one of the villages at the edge of the wood. Here you can split up, buy food or other things, visit a bar or do other things when you get to a town. I suppose you may decide to take rooms together in an inn. The last change for a decent bed in maybe a very long while...

If he still wanted, would this be the opportune time for Az to join our motley crew? If so I can alert him and see if he still wants to. He's been all quiet on the RPG front for a while now.
Can Aerin either be loaned a horse OR sharing one? She can ride, but if they don't have enough horses, she'll not make a fuss about tagging along behind some other rider. I don't know if she'd be okay with a mule or not... Probably not. She's a tall Lorien elf; I don't see her really liking the idea of a short little burro.

Yes, in the town would be a good moment for a new player to join. So he is welcome if he's still interested. It'd be great if he could give me his idea on his character, I believe he hadn't made a final decision there yet. Oh, has he had time to read on on LoTR?

I'll see if I can't find his email with his idea for a character. I don't remember what the name was.

He's decided not to. I might use his idea and jump in with a new character anyway... Maybe him with a horse. Or an EXTRA horse. So Aerin would be able to have SOME dignity.

Or that... how does an elf earn money to buy a horse? Perhaps she'll stumble across some crazy-cool treasure trove.
I didn't even think of that...

I daresay a messenger of the Lady carries some cash for unexpected circumstances. Or the others may chip in.

Just so you know:
As of right now, I am only using Magor to sell Aerin a horse. I think I would like to add another character to the RPG, but if you'd rather me not, Earn, Aerin will only buy a horse from him. And it's very very easy to write a whole bunch when your character isn't interacting with the other characters in an RPG.

If you think you can manage three, sure go ahead. What sort of character would you like to add?

Mari is sort of waiting for inspiration and for a decision to be made.
Don't hurry me. If I decide to continue on this journey for a little longer, I'll post when I think I have something to say. For now you may assume Ellysa is going around the town because she doesn't like crowds.
