Aiya!

This is Aika and Rinkë, having a great time in Derry.

Spent Tuesday in Derry, Wednesday in Belfast, Thursday, Friday and part of today in Clonmany, and then on Monday and Tuesday we're doing some stuff too.

No, I'm not drunk but this post really sounds like it.

And no, we did not actually LARP with Aika's 12 year old cousin last night.

It's a lie.

Anyone watching it? The Swedish performance is pretty good. Tho I think the most likeable act is Greece

That greek Britney-wannabee, likeable? She kept jumping around so much she was too out of breath to even sing properly in the semi-finals. I stopped watching after the first semi-final where we, in good tradition, failed again to reach the final.

But it really IS a circus this year...

I feel bad for the people who actually try to do those super-hyper dances and sing at the same time. I mean, I know some people can do it, but good GOLLY. It takes enough breath and energy just to do the usual jazz-square, one or two leaps about, and end with a spin kind of dancing and sing at the same time.

Well, purists have issues since the Uruk-hai essentially didn't exist until almost the end of the Balrog period.

But I think it would be a pretty short fight.

Ewoks could take out those Uruk-hai.
