Bunnie Queen, it's rather ironic that you should choose to send your message in that color, just at that specific point in the conversation .

I was interested when the "official" holiday season starts in other countries. Here it's the Friday after Thanksgiving - but since other countries don't celebrate Thanksgiving - tomorrow really has no meaning to them. My cousin is going shopping at 2:00am - crazy. I can't see the sense in going shopping on Black Friday.

What's Black Friday? Does it have something to do with Thanksgiving?

How was everyone's dinners? I hope delicious and involving pumpkin pie.

I asked JD this today as well. It's the Friday after Thanksgiving (which is always a Thursday) on which there are really big sales, so there are huge crowds at shopping centres and a mad rush, hence the name 'black'. Is that right, Jerseypoo?

I forgot to mention to you, JD, that I saw the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on TV. They had a huge Spongebob Squarepants.

Holy moly! and thought peolpe were crazy here for starting at 5am.

Nah not for me. Christams shopping doen't begin for another couple of weeks, but I kind of like just going to the mall and see all the craziness, plus it kind of starts the mood of the first day of the seaon.

One of my favorite things about any meal my Mom makes are the leftovers. The meals are always top-hole, and I'm the main one who eats leftovers here . So I have lunch always prepared in advance. Thanksgiving is the one meal where I don't so much look forward to the leftovers, because there usually are only enough leftovers for one meal per person, and everyone grabs what they can in that one.
