Oi, I must tell ye about the proper dental hygiene routine thing I thought up (I seem to think a lot when I'm getting crusty). Funny how so many people across the world worry about the same things. If I can venture a guess chocking was mentioned a few times, someone must have made mention of spinach or summin etc etc etc

How am I supposed to know? I didn't want to further corrupt my mind by reading your *cough* dirty posts with Coney! Hehe.

Well, that was before you made that allusion to me (which I didn't pick up on)

Dirty? How were they dirty? The thread is about candy & we were discussing the various sweets that would make me oh so happy!

Chocolate balls (of which Coney has some very nice ones - he has doctored me back to health with them)
Tequila (candy for me)
Bananas and Apples (natures candy)

But if ye don't corrupt yer mind, how are ye gonna try & take the world from me? Ye gotta know the game to play it...

Ye have to follow the whole thing hun, less you miss out on some vital info

Frozen Milkshake bars were my favorite until that started to hurt my teeth. Now it's just warm Three Musketeers. Soon the diabetes will take over and I'll have to quit that, too.

um think lightweight ultrasweet caramel-sticky pastel sweetthing made with saltwater?

i have an aversion to those for some reason, so i don't know what they taste like.

i like satellite wafers.
they is dese lil cornstarch bubbles with sugar crunchies inside. someetimes you can find em with sour powder too.

That's what I thought? What a bizarre sweet-market the US has.........some of these names sound like codenames for nuclear bombs....wouldn't put it in my mouth (which just belies the thoery that I'd put anything in my mouth)

It's not really even American. It's only at the Jersey shore as far as I know. Taffy's really sticky, stretchy, only slightly sweet candy and you can hardly taste the flavor in it. Saltwater taffy just tastes even less sweet. I think it tastes more like toiletwater than saltwater.

Ah right..........I think I'll give that a miss then

I've never tasted toilet water.........could taste like Ambrosia for all I know, tho' somehow I doubt it (although I have drank American beer, so I've prolly come as close to experiencing it as most )

I like that bubble gum called "Razzles". They are wafers you chew up, they seem like candy at first, turning into a rather dry sweet powder, but if you keep chewing...the powder turns into raspberry bubble gum!

We had bubble gum like that when I was a kid (Can't remember what it was called though).

Also Sparkle Dust, a really weird stuff that looked like large grains of suger but popped and crackeld in yer mouth.

Fruit Salads, Black Jacks and Mojo chews...........and the Daddy of all chewy sweets.........Refreshers (huge they were).

Gotta admit, my all time fave was red liquorice

What happened to all those old sweets? Are they still around?

Actually, salt water taffy...errr... stretches (sorry, couldn't resist)all the way down the eastern coast through Florida.

My all time fav candy is anything chocolate... dark chocolate especially (semi-sweet).

So, anything that has dark chocolate on it, I'll pretty much eat.
