Some people wanted a little bit of history about Frodo Lives, so here goes my best shot at it. Apparently in the 1960s and 70s, Lord of the Rings really took off. Someone started saying Frodo Lives as a motto or something, and it caught on. I've heard that you used to see it everywhere. As of now, I am adding it to my signature.

Well, as one that grew up in the 60's and 70's Tolkien was pretty much unheard of except to a select few. I read LotRs at 16, and believe me, I never saw anything about "Frodo Lives" or Bingo lives" As a matteroffact, this is the most I have ever seen Tolkien's works become pop so to speak. I just don't think back then there was the means for that exposure. Today with the movie, and the internet, it has gained greater popularity. Back in my day, It was limited to the deep thinker types.
