Truthfully, I dunno what I'd decide. Depends on the people around me, my family, friends ... Anything I'd say would probably be both good and bad. Quote:

Mortality for me. Immortality isn't what it's cracked up to be, not in the least.
That and those darn snooty elves!

I think I would also choose mortality...I don't think I would want to be bound to Arda forever (or at least till as long as it lasts...and then what? do you cease to exist if Arda no londer exists? Oh I'm confused!)

Can elves commit suicide?

Yes, though IIRC there are two types. Firstly there is suicide as we would imagine it, killing yourself. Maedhros is probably the best example of this when he cast himself into the fire with his Silmaril.
Secondly there is losing the will to live like Miriel, mother of Fëanor. Is this correct?

Anyone, Mortal and Immortal can lose the will to live and can lead to death by their own hand

Yep. Though they can still die in body, the elvish spirit is still bound and is sent to Mandos, yes? So they cannot truely die like mortals?

Im going to have to go with immortality. The chance to live forever is to tempting. I could see all the things i ever wanted to see. The only bad part would be having to watch everyone around you, who wasnt immortal, die.

I would definitely chose immortality but only if my loved one(s) would be able to be immortal too. I don’t think I will ever be prepared to die…
