I used to be invisible, Just for the sake of striking without notice. But it got annoying when i lost my password. Now i am clean and in the open! *mutters* And vunerable to attack from you bunch of crazies.....

I go invisible very rarely, and only started recently. If I see a thread that I want to post in, but I have to leave or something, I'll remember it. Then if I have only a bit of time to come on later, I'll go invisible to avoid all of you , post there, and sign off without browing much. It's innocent.

It's actually new. I copied it out of RÃ*an's. I had asked her how she does the letters with the little accents and double-dots over them. She just keeps them in her sig and pastes in as needed... so I thought I'd give it a try ('cept I forgot to copy the 'i with accent' just before this reply, so I couldn't use it in RÃ*an's name - unless I go back and edit this later).

(It's ok. Sometimes it looks like I'm addicted too. See, when I'm doing something else on the internet, I'll often leave a window with Entmoot up on "Who's Online" going. So sometimes I'm on the moot for hours at the time, but not really doing anything.)

I do the same. It must be really boring for anyone who's spying on me sometimes, because it'll seem as though I've been reading the same thread for two hours sometimes, even though I haven't read it at all.

So can you admins tell whether we're supposed to be invisible or not? I feel some sort of elevated status being invisible.

And my third reason is very similar to BoP's, about the internet addiction thing.

Actually, I'm working on my pathological need to stay hidden, since I mod at another site (doesn't seem appropriate to hide), but damn, I feel naked sometimes. So, you never know, maybe I'll take off the invisibility cloak, and put the fear of the pantsing in all of you.
