*glomps Sis and Gwai* Heya peoples! I just saw perhaps one of the largest cats I've ever laid eyes on. I honestly thought there was a bobcat in my yard. Actually, I'm still not entirely sure that it wasn't.

There's a mountain lion that cruises through here, every once in a while. Up and down the B&O line.
I've never seen it, but I've seen the tracks, and a snapshot my friend took out his kitchen window. Most of the cats around here are just trying to nosh my birds.

Mountain lions live around here, too; they are occasionally sighted, even on campus. Also bears, which I find rather frightening. O.o They are rarely seen on campus, though. A few weeks ago, apparently a cub ran straight down the middle of the campus, though I didn't see it.

I accidentally went camping at 'the bear campground'. Now bears are a problem, anywhere people are stupid about feeding them. But in this place, they'd gotten so comfortable that the bear safe did nothing. They'd break into cars if they saw a gum wrapper. When I went, the first night, at about 6pm (full light), there were 3 bears SITTING ON SOMEONE"S PICNIC TABLE EATING THEIR DINNER.
There I was, in a little tent, and every night you'd hear people start to set off horns, like, airhorns? That's how they kept the bears out of the trailers by the lake. You'd hear them, as the horns got closer and closer...camping loop C, on the end, down to the middle, that big deep horn in loop B...all the way up to me. My site was next to bear potty. I would hear them SNIFF THE TENT and see the shadows from the moon. 2 nights I lived that way, then I slept in the car for 2 nights until my reservations for another campground came due. I literally could NOT eat at all, because I was afraid I'd smell like food. Not funny. Not at all.

A 30-30 or odd 6 would fix that problem in a hurry if they got as close to me as that. Erg...I have the same experience with the beasts.

I like bears - but at a suitable distance.
I've only seen them in zoos.

Oh my. Hehe, maybe there was a reason we never went camping ^_^
I promised my sister we would go see a film tonight in the theatre after having had dinner with my grandmother, but we haven't agreed on which one yet and Saturday I'm going again with my friend so... I'm not really sure I want to go. Also because tomorrow I have to get up early again for a triple shift. What should I do, what should I do? That eternal uncertainty! [/drama queen]
