Failure is something I am also afraid of. I like to think I never loose or fail anything ever, but it happens and it is inevitable. *sigh* I'm also afraid of attatching myself emotionally to people for fear that they don't have the same level of commitment that I do. I do it anyway, but the doubt always lingers in the back of one's mind.

I don't think it does so much as in the fact that I am adopted, but with circumstances that happened in my family when I was young, and then again when got older. Part of that may be it. I feel extremely blessed to have the family that I do and that God placed me in it. However, I always wonder about my background, med history, etc.
I was technically adopted before I was born, and I went home with my adoptive parents when I was three days old. Like I said, some things happened when I was young that could be a part of that fear. Sorry that was so long. I didn't mean to give my backstory. But that was very observent, BoP.

Yes, I have beady observant eyes. All part and parcel of being a goddess - all knowing. *hides magic eight ball behind back*

I sometimes fear churches. Especially when people look at you funny 'cause they know you're an atheist and yet you're in a church. (Hey, I was at an awards ceremony! And I can't help that I snickered when the lady said we were given our creative ability to write by God!)

I have a fear of elevators (unless they're glass). I fear death, though I'm not sure why. I guess I fear more the pain involved in death. Ialso have a fear of cows. Yeah, that's right. Cows. My friend has this huge ranch and when we walk throught it all these cows start chasing us and we have to run all the way back to her house. It's terrifying!

I'm not afraid of death, but I'm afraid of dying, I guess. Or of having a really bad illness which means I'm going to die and not knowing about it. I hate any kind of physical pain. I'm afraid of large crowds, especially when they're drunk - like someone said, angry mobs. You don't know if they're going to turn on next.
The other thing I'm afraid of is bad dreams, which is a bit stupid really, but I don't like the way you can't control them, you can't get out of them, and then you're left with that feeling the next day... ugh. I don't know if that's fear or just me being wimpy

Spiders - a completely irrational, instinctive fear. Kind of interesting, actually.
Closed-minded people: not that they won't change their opinions, but that they won't even listen or make an effort to understand your point of view. Realizing at the end of my life that I didn't do any of the things I wanted to do (this had better not happen!) Suburbia, being a housewife (never, never, never, NEVER!) Being fat Getting stuck in California

LOL. Nah, I'll just live in a hobbit hole with sandy floors. No scrubbing, no vacuuming.
