Actually, I can understand your frustration. It's OK.

Yes, I do think the ones with unpopular stances have a burden to convince others, while those who agree with the popular opinion are not burdened in that way. Since I am often on the unpopular side, I know that it is frustrating. But I'm pretty sure I'm with the majority here, yes, and therefore I don't need to convince anyone due to the simple fact that if it came down to a vote, we'd carry it.

So what I think you need to convince me (and I think MOST PEOPLE) of is that the guy who draws pictures of little boys and/or girls doing naughty things DOESN'T need counseling. Good Luck.

So far people have only convinced me that they feel very passionate about censorship and will not censor anything at all. There's no way to discuss such a stance, it can only be argued pro or con.

Do I have it right? That for you it's entirely a matter of censorship?

Tessar - I know you had wanted to give this thread a chance - but I'm closing it for a couple reasons.

For one - it REALLY pushes the PG-13 limitation. It's not a discussion I'd want any of my children to see.

Second - some have taken it as yet another opportunity to grouse about the Entmoot staff.

For you who are doing this latter - I'd like to see any of you try and moderate a board that, while built on a certain area of interest - also allows for discussion of just about any topic - just so it stays within the PG-13 parameters - and which allows for members of all kinds - just so they're respectful and don't start fights with one another.
