Excessive consumption of chocolate is traditionally said to lead to liver cirrhosis. Hence the question.
Somewhat ironic then, that dark chocolate could be used for liver treatment, but other specific kinds, I imagine. But then dark chocolate always was the healthier of the three. Oh, and without a LIVER, you'd be DEADER. |

So what we're saying here is that we should all have a healthy, balanced diet: equal parts of milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate.

Yes, Val. That is exactly what I've been saying for years. You can dress the chocolate up with whatever you want: Chicken or beef, bread or veggies, salt or pepper. It should be a major part of every meal.
If I were President of Entmoot, I would make a new food pyramid that included an entire section for the importance of chocolate.

Fortunately the Valandil's Day went without fuss. And on Friday I got to dance waltz... Was suprisingly tiring.

If it's any consolation, there wasn't any chocolate left by the end of the day to discount.*munchmunch*

Yeah, nice of your mom.
Unfortunately for me, I seldom have a taste for chocolate when I'm sick. It never tastes right when I'm ill. |

Yeah, I couldn't remember why I liked them when I ate one the night she brought it. Fortunately there were 5 in the pack.

Marred only by the stink the Institute for Equal Chances and Discriminiation (yes, we have something like that) raised over the fact that two companies had made adds that said women could get 20% off the price if they bought something on Women's Day. The Institute went ZOMG you're discriminating the menz! Ohnoes! Shame! Shame! Unlawful! (I kid you not.) Yeah, never mind the men would get it too if they bought something, but obviously even on Women's Day you shouldn't do something for women, right? The men would feel left out and that's all what matters. Well, if it's tastes right again, you must be cured. Eating chocolate is like a fail-sure test for being cured! |

Then they'd probably whine how discrimitory of us it is to spike just their coffee. The tea, water, milk and other beverages will feel left out!

I was going to say 'of course, otherwise the text would feel discriminated!' but I think that joke has run its course...

oh, btw, my daughter and I will be heading to New Jersey in a week for a two-week course of medical treatment for her. We're hoping that she will be well enough to let us sight-see. We are only 30 minutes away from the Empire State building, so we're pretty close to fun stuff in NY. I think I'll start a thread to ask for recommendations ...
