The only other songs I can think of at the moment are George Harrisons "All those years ago" (a tribute to John) and "My Sweet Lord" and Ringo Starrs "It don't come easy". The other songs I posted before are good too.

I like all the songs on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, especially, Diamond Dogs, and Because We Can. Anyone else like these?

Moulin Rouge has a pretty good soundtrack, yeah. But I prefer the original versions, ie David Bowie's "heroes", as opposed to the Elephant Love medley.

Thanks to a certain person who shall remain nameless, I've just had one of those cool music expansion periods, whereby I discover new stuff!
Let me say: Ramones, Iggy Pop, Midnight Oil, and Blue Oyster Cult ROCK! I'm trying to download anything I can grab my hands on at the moment.

ha,ha,ha BoP. I know you hate me, you must think I'm some Martha Stewart prig or something, but you like many of the songs I like. I saw the All things must pass concert in Chicago, It was very exciting as he was the first beatle to tour after the break up. This was a very big WOO! at the time. I almost fell asleep sitting thru his opening act Ravi Shankar tho. Kraftwerk were great and have seen the Ramones so many times I've lost count. I kinda quit listening to music so much after getting older tho, too busy. My husband's rockabilly band opened a show for the Ramones once inChicago. That was fun. Trivia for Bop. When you climb the ladder and open the door on the ceiling, what does it say? Oh yeah, Iggy yes!

As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably. Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia. Cheers! |
