Combining realities is my specialty. It's a necessary skill with all these elf-lords of uncertain paternity, after all.
I should probably come up with names for Glor's parents... How's this? Father: Culdafinde, son of Irime Mother: Lisseriel, sister to Elenwe and Rameldir's great-grandfather.

Hmpfh. I don't get to come up with cool backgrounds.
Why do I pick the Elf Lords with absolutely certain paternity, anyway?

Whose mother's father? Blasted elvish family trees...

Here's the relevant branch of my family tree (the one merged with Glorfindel's family):
Rameldir - Erufailon - Elenwë's niece - Elenwë's brother. Would make Rameldir and Glorfindel first cousins twice removed. The problem is the lack of names in my list, it's what makes it so confusing. We could skip a couple of generations (at least for this RP) and make Erufailon to be Elenwë's brother like you suggested, which would make Rameldir and Glorfindel first cousins instead. If you think that's better.

No need to generation skip now that it's all written out. Glorfindel, Idril and Rameldir's grandmother are all first cousins. Got it.

Then it wouldn't be Erufailon, would it? I don't know whether we need his name, though. I doubt that Rameldir would ever mention his great-grandfather. Or his grandmother (who is also without a name) either.

We probably don't need a name for him. So... scratching that previous line-up we have Elenwe with two siblings: Glorfindel's mother, Lisseriel, and an un-named brother who is Rameldir's great-grandfather. Yes?

It takes about as much to make Rameldir angry as to make Finrod angry. They are both descendants of Finarfin.
Edit: It might have been better to edit the previous post after all. Is it possible for me to delete this one, or will the posts have to be combined by a moderator?

Sas, Glorfindel is currently asleep in a tree somewhere. You can find him in the garden if you like, but he isn't standing in the hall...

Nope, we don't have a Galadriel yet, or a CelebrÃ*an, both of whom we will eventually need.
RPing is going to be very slow for me for the next couple of days, though, as I'm finishing up my exams. Monday afternoon I shall try to catch up on everything.
