Ech, my ribs will sort of let me play Twister now, without booze.

But have you had your virtual supper and dessert?
The nice thing about that is it's not fattening, and you can eat as much as you'd like I'll join in with the tea - my real self is going off to my son's football game, and my virtual self will just put up my feet and relax with some tea here (and I didn't actually hit you with the whip, Earniel - just cracked it over you )

Speaking of board games - anyone here heard of/played Michigan Rummy / Tripoly / Rummy Royal? You have a board with 10, J, Q, K, and A of hearts, as well as K&Q of hearts, and 6,7,8 any suit. The first round is poker, then the second round you play down your cards and try to collect the pay cards on the board. Very fun, esp. when you try to play out fast and get your $ and cut out everyone else I played it growing up, and now my kids like it.
Also, anyone else here play cribbage? Another interesting little game, and the boards are cool.

Soup course.
I have your choice of a nice light miso broth, or a creamy butternut. Which?

*The Welcoming Monster and the Cooking Monster present the Cafe Menue for FMA while the Pie & Pastry and Delicacy & Monsters continues to slave away in the swelteringly hot kitchen with all the dishes ordered by the ravenous Mooters. But first the Drinks & Shots Monster hands FMA a special list of drinks and shots for the newcomer to chose from.*

Hello there Curufin. Nice to meet you.
(part of board etiquette to bold other posters' names?) Uh... and Hello Grey Wolf. Do ye speak or do you have this weird thing about speaking through other people/personas rather than say it yerself? Eh, whatever floats your boat, come have a drink. I'll have a whiskey sour. Chaser of the same. And some stew. |

Well, no, actually, the monsters are only made up for fun and Im just their author as it were, so I can speak for myself.
*GW pours FMA a Whiskey sour and fixes a chaser of the same - the order then goes out to the kitchen for the stew.* Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 11-08-2008 at 01:45 AM. |

Ugh... academic brain fry hangover all day. Gone now though.
*wanders into the kitchen and starts whipping up some pies* Good idea, pie baking. Got to get in practice for Thanksgiving.

I'll take a drinkie of tea tonight, thanks. I feel like I only just got my brain relaxed and functioning again and I'd like to keep it that way for a bit.
But by all means have something stronger yourself. What brings you to Entmoot, FMA?
