No it doesn't..... Do you know what AOL AIM is ? :P America Online Instant Messanger. It is a feature on AOL - but you can dl AIM separately at aol.com a hotmail adress is not an aim screen name... rright...

Coney, follow this path: MAIN>PREFERENCES>ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS then hit the SOUND tab. Then find the "ICQ startup event" and disable it.

Or do it the easy way. turn off your sound when you start it up.
