4. The winner for most Modest Poster is Nirvingiel (two votes) and gets the Golden "Venetian Mask". 5. The winner for Happiest Poster is Valadil (two votes) and gets the coveted Golden "Actor's Comedy Mask". 6. The winner for the Gloomiest Poster is Elfhelm (though there were two others, "there can only be One") gets the not so coveted Silver "Actor's Tragedy Mask". 8. The winner for the Best Response is Dunadain who gets the coveted Golden Post-it Award. 9. The winner for the Topic of the Year appears to be vacant this year (better luck next time). And everybody else who thinks they've been overlooked will get The Giltedged Platinum Entmoot Medal to ease their hurt feelings Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 12-28-2003 at 07:38 AM. |

Still, being forgotten and overlooked has its advantages; for one: you get to keep your pants. *snaps a picture of Gwai without his pants.* Mwahahah! :evil :

More Awards
Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That makes me so HAPPY!!!
Ahem, now for a few more awards: Flash-in-the-pan: Percy Weasley - who signed up on Oct 17... his first post was 9:12 pm that day (times are my own CST - I think he's EDT himself) - his 94th (and FINAL) post was at 9:17 pm on Oct 19th! The guy does 94 posts in 48 hours, 5 minutes - and then we never see him again! Where art thou, O Percy??? Best Joke: 'Ed Zachary Disease' by SGH. Saw it first time I opened the Joke Thread... made the mistake of doing so while at work. It was SO HARD to keep from cracking up and falling down laughing. Best Song: Don't know if she visits this thread, but I'd like to pass this off to Tanoliel - who is a big cheerleader for the songwriters around here. Tano... who did the best one this year? Still yet more Awards
Oh... and how could we forget?
The Riddler: Keith K - for all his great posts in the Middle Earth Riddling Thread Top Quote Solver: Gotta be none other than Diamond of Long Cleeve... who just swipes so many away by solving those tough last words (and who keeps her elven cloak on so we don't know when she's here!). |

In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.' 'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin "Oh. Forgive me, fairest of all males of Entmoot...Back down, all ye other wannabe fairest males! Dunedain is the fairest!" --Linaewen |
