Re: Advertisements
I don't know how many folks on the board are interested in animal welfare issues, but if so, I have come across a site for a very worthy organization that I really think is worthy of support. The site also has a lot of various information about animal topics. One thing that is always welcomed is sponsorship, which cost is $17 a year per animal, which is most reasonable and should also be tax-deductible. Another needed thing is membership to the Best Friends Network, which is a nationwide network of people who are able to give local assistance at need, whether it be hands-on animal work, professional assistance in a number of areas, etc.
The site itself is called Best Friends and they run an animal sanctuary in Utah. This is a no-kill facility--animals there will always have a place to live out their lives where they will receive proper care and it is not limited to dogs and cats. Horses, goats, pigs, birds, wild animals and many others find homes here permanently or are rehabilitated for release or for adoption. Even special-needs animals who are ill or disabled are taken in and welcome for as long as they need care. In particular, any folks who may live in the area and have not heard of this sanctuary are welcomed to visit and even volunteer. The site will provide info on lodgings, etc, for those planning a visit to the area. I urge any who have interests in this area to check this site out--the work they do is truly outstanding and worthy of respect. Thanks to all of Entmoot Have a nice day For all interested the web address is: www.bestfriends.org/ |

Re: Advertisements
I don't have a homepage. Mostly because I can't decide weather to make SW or LotR related site.
