How is it that there is suddenly 4 of the same thread? This one, to be precise?

I was just wondering that myself. Why do the meat eaters get three threads?

It's a more open invitation for vegetarians to go meaty.
However, if you're not careful (and we know most of us here are weird) you might end up replying yourself.

I only stopped eating meat recently, but not because I don't like the taste...I just started thinking about it too much. Maybe I ought to head over to the vegetarian thread to discuss why people don't eat meat. . .

I had lunch with a friend in Princeton last week - I had medium rare lamb chops, mashed potatoes with goat cheese and baby aspargus spears. I don't like goat cheese so I just ate around that. I love meat though - especially rare Porterhouse steaks on the grill. Nothing like grilling meat on the barbeque. Also - come to think of it - Hannibal's dinners didn't look too bad either. That might be something to try sometime - especially the fresh brain sauted in a little Chianti.

Since the threads are closing at an alarming rate, why isn't this one closed? It's a copy, there are two with the same title.

A big reason why the longer threads are closing is that they get off topic. Lets try to stay on topic with this one. I like meat. Any kind of meat is good. I prefer mine well cooked. Red meat is okay, and I don't like it burnt. There is nothing better than a large hunk of well cooked meat. Fish is kind of questionable, and meat from a bird is okay. Mammal flesh is the best.

Actually there are three identical threads. The third one is just on the second page.
