Alas this is true! We are a RPG of Pirates! Though you might want to get to know my character, he's a carpenter. Always interested in trees and what not. Might have an interesting chat? Always good to know the material you use I suppose...

EDIT: As for running the ship, Maggie and I thought about it, but we've been accused of plot wrecking before and comandeering of RPGS....

Aw...Poor Huorn. Perhaps if he hid all his sharp pointy things? He does have a lot of respect for where his material comes from. I have yet to meet a good carpenter that doesnt. It would be interesting, to say the least.

So what are you saying, you want to catch the Oak and put her aboard your ship? She does have sweet tasting edible acorns. Oak Leaf is not a very brave creature. She is reluctant to harm anything that is not an Orc. Get enough rum and dump it on her roots, and you could catch her and haul her on board.

I could play her when she is still young and small.

For this RPG she could be a pretty sapling maybe only 8 feet to her crown and loaded with those sweet acorns. A Huorn sapling would be about 80 years old, old enough to bear acorns. She could perhaps be eye catching with bright red foliage.

Because she is mobile, she can eat, so survival at sea isn't an issue.

This is going to be fun. A plausable reason for the Oak to be found at this far away locale is that she was an Entmaid at one time. That might be another reason why the crew wants to catch her. I noticed you have Elves in the crew. They know something about Ents?

They are also in for a nasty surprise. Also on the landmass is Jack.

Weaknesses: A good book and rum
Race: half-elf, half-undetermined. Her Elven mother is said to have wandered into a rum-worshipping colony south of the Shire
History: Was separated from her twin sister Eresse at birth and was raised with her mother while Eresse was raised in the Rum village.
Personality: Restrained, serious and inquisitive.

Might I throw her in somewhere?
