Very nice, Gwai! I like it! (and you don't look like a girl, IMO!) You've changed a lot in a year. I think you should cut it quite short in the front, to show off your Noldor-ish cheekbones, then you can keep it a little longer in the back if you would like. Nice dark wavy hair! I'll go add the pic to the list. Do you want me to keep the old one up?
We're going to get a digital camera soon, and I want to get a picture up of me in my favorite hat.

Most girls don't have moustaches, Nin. Maybe I won't shave it, after all.
Yes, please keep the oldie up. Hey, you forgot the blond-haired pic! Have I? *checks* It does look like it, indeed.

That reminds me of the line about girl's moustaches in the Greek Wedding movie

Let me give you a make-over Gwai....I could make Ninquelote eat her words! See Brad Pit's smile? See his look of confidence? See his pretty teeth? It's all in the attitude dude!
Anyway, you look nice, but I'd like to see a handsome smile. My husband has been so busy playing with his new toys he hasn't had time for me and my new digital camera....but just wait! You all might be surprised! I challenge you Rian...to a hat contest. I LOVE hats!

*looks affectionately at her hats*
Me too!!!! I have about 10 or so - dontcha love the ones with the little wisps of veil that go over your eyes, and you feel all mysterious and sexy gazing through it? My husband's first glimpse of me was at church at Easter - I was wearing a cream-colored hat with a little bit of gauzy veil - he's never forgotten it! (he always mentions it when people ask how we met) I hope to get our camera sometime in the next few weeks - the duel is ON, girlfriend!! (I don't really wear my more formal ones anymore, because they're out of style but I have some cute little casual ones. Do you?)

ps - Gwai, have you ever tried contact lenses? I love them - I can't stand wearing glasses, and I love to look at people's eyes without glasses in the way.

Oy! Don't ever get contact lenses. They scratch up your eyes and make them feel dry and crappy all the time. I always wear my glasses, they're much more comfortable.

I like contacts... well I did but I think they scatched up my eyes. I heard if you dont rub em and they get protein buildup they can scratch your eyeballs. Ive known people who can't wear them anymore because of that. I've only been wearing them since february but they are recently so painful to put in, they sting and burn and I get tears and they hurt so bad for the first few minutes, and then it's a relief taking them off. I love them but I think I've messed up my eyes

That's too bad, Ninq and Smintz - I've had them for years, and I love them.

I may try for you, Liz, but no promises. It always looks awful when I smile for a picture; so fake-looking. Probably because it is.
I haven't tried contacts; I may do so in America, though. I find the variety of experiences shared with contacts to be very interesting; you must have discovered the Secret to Successful Contacts, Ri! Lizra vs. Rian in the Twenty-first Century Hats Contest...the tension builds. Where do we place our bets?

OK, picture fans, I just put a new piccy of EXK up - quite nice!
Hey, EXK, is that a hat, or a headband? (ps - no way you're gonna win, Lizra - just give it up now! ) (pps - just make sure we can see your lovely eyelashes!) I know lots of people that wear contacts, very few have problems with them. I wore them back in the old days, when they were the hard lenses - now THOSE were snarky at first, but once you got used to them, they were fine. I have the soft lenses now, and they're great! My hubby has them, my sis-in-law has them, many of my friends have them, we all do fine Maybe in the cold weather areas, they are less comfortable?

Thanks RÃ*an. It's actually a bandana that I fold over lots of times to use as a headband. I've got a red one and blue one the same. I look silly in hats though I do have about 7 caps.
Am trying to get the scanner working so I can get a picture of what I look like now up. But it won't co-operate with me. So that has to do for now.

I'll try to scan in something of myself as well, when the scanner arrive. Hopefully before Ragnarokk.
Nice pic, EXK (what does this mean, by the way?)! Like the headband.
