I know of one Japanese supermarket with highly exaggerated prices at a three hour distance by train and bus...
Our normal supermarkets don't really carry that sort of thing and the tokos we have are mostly Turkish or Moroccan or something like that.
Where I live now is pretty small and very Dutch.

You need a food co-op...or mail order. People should not be deprived of mochi.

Order sweet rice. Mochi is easy to make.

I've made mochi with a big hammer before. It was fun. The teacher is late.

Co-op... apparently they exist in this country as well, but usually in small villages that are too small to have a normal supermarket (like the village where my friend now lives ), but otherwise there are none.
Besides, our supermarkets aren't as big as the German, or French or American supermarkets. At least, from what I've seen.

Well, I'd better get to bed now. Busy day ahead tomorrow...

You know, I've been thinking...
Everytime I look to the bottom of the Homepage to see whose online, I always look at the message that says "most users ever online was...." blah blah blah 470, or something like that.
I am absolutely DYING to break that record. I think we should all set a time and date when everyone (who is active on entmoot atleast), can access the moot. That would be awesome. If there are over 470 active entmoot members....

Yeah I know. Though it's active users, not active Entmoot members. So it's enough to have a load of guests and some members. Though that would mean we'd need rougly 2/3 guests, which means 300+ and I've never, in my short existence here on Entmoot seen anything like it, nor have I seen more than like 20 members (max) since I came here in April (I think?)

Would be cool to have 500 users online at once tho! There's one chance for it, and that's when the Hobbit movies come about and lots of fans start searching around on the web again. Until then, not a chance

That is true. *cries* THE HOBBIT NEEDS TO COME OUT SOOOOON!!! I have been dying to break that record everytime I log onto entmoot. I dont know why it bothers me so much. Maybe because it happened a few years ago, and the record is ready to be broken again. we will prevail!

Mhm yeah I guess perhaps so. Tho 2005 was just in the wake of the LOTR-mania and I doubt that something like that will happen in the near future.

It's weird, how those three movies changed the scenery. I remember I had to struggle to explain to kids (when I was about 12) my age what LOTR was.. swoosh! *over their heads*
