See? There you go. Cooperation works. Now just apply it to the economy.

I'm very glad the monsters were taught to share, Grey Wolf

I still haven't finished what I started in November - I've started rewriting it from the beginning, though, which was very much needed. I meant to do that only after I'd finished, but I want to get the beginning to be readable already ...

On Friday I'll be travelling by coach for about eight hours (from Oslo to Ålesund), I'll bring pen and paper then and hopefully get something done.

Then type it up later.

I'm getting used to them now - good to see that our new member is getting used to them so soon! It took me longer than that ...

You're ahead of me. I still kick them back to their quarters as soon as possible.
Though I might be more gentle with certain monsters than with the rest of the lot.

Oh, rewriting sucks. But if it gets better, I guess it's a good thing to do.
Good luck with writing on the train/coach! I never really managed to master that skill.

Depends really a lot on how smooth the driving is. If the coach is shaking because of uneven ground, it's really difficult. On the train it's no problem at all - large parts of what I wrote in November was written on the train.

I've just gotten me another project for that coach journey - I've printed out Long Lost Leaves and intend to read it ...
Then later I'll decide whether I want to ask permission to join you or not

Fortunately I'm having no problems with car-sickness even when reading ...

You kick the monsters back to their quarters?
I usually wait for someone else to do that ... or when it's the Theatrical Monster, I usually join it for some Shakespeare quoting

So here I was, being all procrastinating about going to bed, and I come on this thread! I click on the links at the beginning, and it turns out that the "Entmoot FAQs" link leads to a list of smilies and how to type them into your post. Useful information, I am sure, but NOT quite FAQs...

Should I have posted this in the technical forum? I figured some important person would check it. Don't mean to be reporting so many problems, either... it comes with my real job, so I do it out of habit here. Sorry!

Here's a big welcome to ElizabethAnnRoger!

It's always fun to welcome new folks into the discussion. This thread here is where you can discuss the upcoming election in the USA.

Hi! Entmoot is such a lovely place to visit in the autumn! I first came here in 2006 but haven't posted much until again the last few days. My rereading LotR for about maybe the seventh time for these past few months, or well mostly having the amazing Rob Inglis read it to me, has made me want to join you all here again!

Welcome Zilbanne! That must be a record of this board - I don't think any member with as few posts as you have, has come back after such a long absence

I don't know if this is invading privacy rights or what (I doubt it), but is there just a list of all the members on Entmoot, whether online or off?

Just so you don't have to search through forums for someone?

Yep. In the green bar which has the user CP, register, search, and FAQ buttons, there's one that says "Members List", too.

Thanks! Guess I could have explored a bit more...

To keep on topic so I don't get in trouble.. Welcome, couple of new people I've noticed!!!

The only one posting here, though, is Zilbanne...

Greetings everyone.

In the natural course of things, somethings happen early, some take time. It took me quite a lot of time to get my hands on one of 'his' works and lot more to finish reading it. Phew. So, Im all set to get into the thick of the discussions here.

Off to have a look around. Later
