You know what would be really funny (but would never happen). All the electorate rep guys didn't care what their region's popular vote was and chose Bush (or Kerry, for that matter). They'd have to get out of the country pretty fast! lol

I heard about 1/2 hour ago on the radio that in the latest exit polls, "Moral Values" was the highest ranking issue at 22%. It was followed by Economy, Terrorism and then Iraq, I believe. That's pretty interesting. I was quite surprised.

There is a republican stripe right down the middle of the country (ND south to TX). It just looks cool on the map, that's all.

Anybody see Bush hanging out in the White House? He looked kind of calm, considering what event is taking place.

*Come on Bill Lee* I know you can beat Minner! Just a few more Rep. precincts people.

ABC called it after discussing it with Kerry's people and they conceded that Florida was Bush's. BTW - ASBC has had it called for over a half hour now.

MSNBC has not called Florida yet.

I think it is way too early to call Florida...

Still a ton of provisional ballots and allegedly 1 million absentee ballots to be counted.

Bush leads in absentee ballots 4 - 1 though. They know who votes on absentee ballots. You mean to say you know more than the Kerry team who have come on ABC and have said that Florida has gone to Bush?

Colorado has just gone to Bush too.

A lot of absentee ballots are military votes, and a LOT of those in the military (no matter what Moore tells you) support Bush.

It's entertaining to watch, but I'm not too concerned about who wins. Whoever does, the world will still go on tomorrow, the country will not self-destruct, and prices will still go up, and the war will still be going on.

I dont' like either of them.

This has happened before. It's called an unfaithful electorate, and in 24 states there is no law against it. The 26 states that do have it as illegal have struggled in the past as to whether or not it is a constitutional law.

I wanted to report a voter being disinfranchised in California!!!

My daughter's second-grade class voted for president. My daughter was telling me about it, and she said she voted for Bush. Then she said, "Wait a minute - I think I voted for Bush, but maybe I voted for Kerry accidentally - it was confusing!"

Call the lawyers!!!

Pytt, you are correct. Ohio basically boiled down to who won the presidency. Kerry had to get it to get the number of electoral votes he needed.

It doesn't look promising - well it looks promising for me anyway - most of the counties that they have left are republican counties.

CNN is now projecting Ohio is "too close to call". Bah, and I have to go to school now. I guess I'll have to wait until later to find out who the next president is. It looks good for Bush though, I'd be surprised if Kerry wins.
