I have no idea where she is from, but I'll yell 'hi!' from a high mountain for you.

I'm happy for concealer, because for the last week my face has been covered in little 'irritated' looking dots that aren't really full-fledged zits, but they still look blech.

Now I finally don't look like I have horrible acne, just moderate acne. Hooray. I hate those stupid red marks. >.<

I'm so glad I'm 23. But actually, I never had serious acne; a dot here and there, but nothing big.

Spoken by a true member of the workforce. it was only like, what, a week ago? That you were praying to get this job. Now you're giddy when released.

What? I love my job . Today sucked because I had, over the last two hours of my shift, a string of horrible customers... but I still love the job.

I also love sleeping, though, so I celebrate the fact that tonight and possibly tomorrow morning will be filled with sleepy-time .

Just came back from visiting my grandmother and for the first time in at least 10 weeks I saw life in her again! I mean, she was doing better before, but now she was talking and engaging in conversation and just energetic. Like she wanted to go for it again.

And when she started to dictate a list of things that she wanted done, the offensive cousin (see venting thread) came in, so I got her to do a few things as well.
I didn't even get angry or show a hint of unpleasantness! *is amazed by her ability to restrain herself*

And I just made my other grandmother very happy by calling her to say I'd come back from my wonderful vacation. Which in turn makes me happy.

Going away for a week: I'm going on a hike to northern Sweden, on Wednesday I'll attempt to reach the peak of Kebnekaise, Sweden's highest mountain. 8) It'll be a lot of fun.. I might even come back with a few photos.

Meanwhile, you make sure this thread is above the venting thread when I come back! See you in a week..

Despite the fact that I was exhausted after work, I did a good, solid 35 minutes of vocalizing/singing, so I'm proud of myself. It's not what I could wish for, BUT I've been good about practicing every single day since last week, and my voice is getting back to where it should be. I'm also proud that I practiced at all, never mind that it was a bit short .

I also loaned out a book of John Dowland works from the library, and OMG I love them. They're awesome to sing .

Obama picked Biden.

I can't say everything that means, but, wow.

Thank you! I'm sure you will - just leave early enough in the morning.. X) It's quite a climb.

It was very foggy when we were up there, so all we (there were only two of us who went all the way up in the end) got from there was photos of us.. XD It was alright, though, 'cause we slid down the first 50 metres of the glacier when we turned back.. It was great!
But, of course, I have photos from elsewhere - the road there and some other places I went. Actually, I'll go upload some now..

I must confess, pre-1700 music tends to take a bit of work for me to grasp. Usually worth it, though.
