OOOH! Turkish coffee is interesting. Good, but interesting. Also: have you tried the Greek variation?

It is with a profound sense of regret that I must announce that - under our new member-friendly, Mod-driven administration:

Turkish Coffee is no longer to be served in the Teacup Cafe.

Oh, and Hector... no Greek variations on it either.

That is all.

For now.

Technicalities...

Fair point. You haven't done anything evil, unless overthrowing the president counts. Though I doubt that required a feather duster, even one with doom-like qualities.

True, we didn't use the feather duster for that

Nor the doom.

And we didn't overthrow the president exactly. We deposed her.

As we darn well should have, she was still in office way longer than the democratically elected period. But you don't see anyone calling her a dictator. Not fair says I.

... I revert to lurking for a few weeks and ya'll start government shenanigans? Can't be having with that.

Can't be starting a revolution with half the revolutionaries imprisoned either...

Too bad you forgot about the shape-shifter with a set of lock picks!

That's right.

Maybe without a prison to oversee certain would be dictators will be less distracted from their creative processes?

Less likely to forget about their lone, non-moderator RPG partner?

Maybe... writing might happen?

Return to the light my friends! Reject these corrupt dictatorial ambitions and return to our former state of peaceful collaboration!

*puppy eyes*

Pretty please?

As it happens (and yes, it really is a genuine coincedence, NO REALLY, IT iS) I was just writing that very same RPG-scene you allude to. Writing the accompanying mail in another window as we speak.

Hence my... inconventient inattention to all those escaping prisoners. *shifty look* (I'm never going to hear the end of this . But prisoner guard duties and creative writings just don't mix very well...)

Hm, mailing to known revolutionaries is not going to sit well with my fellow dictators... So um, lets agree to never mention this again.

But I keep telling you, Bombadil is a serious security risk! Our prisoners are much safer in the Dul Guldur prisons, under dilligent and constant watch! Well, not constant... and maybe not that dilligent...

Um.

Shutting up now.

Eh... for friendship's sake:

Earniel isn't to blame, Val! I'd have found a way to free the prisoners no matter where they were hidden. Haven't you read my title lately?

Now just simmer down, all you would-be-revolutionaries! It's that Turkish Coffee, I tell ya. Getting you all stirred up. Can't be allowed. Bad stuff, that.

Here... have a little something else. Relax now. C'mon everyone - drinks are on the Mods!

* tries discretely to slip valium into the drinks he serves up *

By the way, I am totally going to comment on Treebeard's new woodwose/wildman outfit, complete with Saruman hand-stamp . Piece of art!

Aha! You've secretly been a spy from the Spaceballs fandom this entire time, haven't you Prince Valium?

Good thing I drink only from my trusty TLA issued flask of Miruvor.
