Only the "on" in "I climbed on" was wrong. I've bolded it, and I've also bolded the capital W in Winter, as the speaker uses the capital initial in that word.

That unsolved part with the hyphens looks like the other name for Dorthonion - or the forest there, perhaps? I'm not sure though - and not really good with my Quenya (if that's what it is).

Not sure of the speaker. It doesn't sound like him, but because of the locale, I'll go with Beren...???

I can't think of any Quenya that fits, either. The hyphenating is more typically Sindarin, and Dorthonion was later called Taur-nu-Fuin (is that the name you're thinking of, Valandil?), but that doesn't fit the gaps we have, and it would be odd for a speaker to be using both names as they're from different time periods.

Valandil's additions are correct. But the speaker is not Beren.

-na-Thôn is correct, but Ered isn't - but you're certainly thinking along the right lines, Eärniel ...

I must admit that I don't know either what language it is nor what it means.
Perhaps we can find out once you've worked out the correct name?

As for the missing part not being Ered, well I'm stumped then. Unless it's the singular form of mountain, Ered is plural, I vaguel recall. The trouble is I can't recall the singular if that's what we're looking for.
