What is that on the last pic? Is it natural?

It's ice. The photo is taken at some small rapids that end in sort of a creek which causes the surface water to circulate, which in turn has made these pieces of ice circular. It was pretty cool to see, I was trying to get some good photos of it.. But as it is many times, the real thing looks better than the photo.

That's so weird... o_O But also very cool! I don't think I've ever seen something like this. Thank you! ^_^

Hehe, I'm glad you like it.. People walking by also thought it was weird. XD

EDIT: that's my version of how it happened: if that's the truth, I don't know. I wasn't there when they were forming, but the pieces were moving constantly and 'rubbed' against another.

My room in Leiden. It's only 12m2, but all my stuff fits in somehow...

My view:

From my room you can actually see 5 churches

Some details from the observatory.. It was, of course, cloudy so we couldn't really observe anything, but seeing the place was nice, too. Even though checking out Mars would've been nice..

I just came from Copenhagen, with lots of photos.. We didn't have any sun, which affected the photography opportunities negatively. But still, I managed to take over 300 photos.

I won't make you see all of them, do not fear. I'll share some, though. I'll start with the greyest ones.

And beginning, of course, with the number one tourist attraction: the little mermaid.

A church in the harbour..

One of my personal favourites: the cloudmakers.

No comment. On the graveyard.

Grey.

Yay! More Nerdy pics. Thanks ++

A photographer friend prefers overcast days (for wedding shoots anyway). Maybe you get nicer shots of people's faces or something.

Overcast days can give very nice results, I agree. They take the edge out of the sunlight. Some of my best holidays photos of historic sites are with grey clouds (and some with impressive looking storm-clouds) on the background.

Yeah, I agree: if there is at least some sun. With the light from the sun, clouds can really add to a photo. And sure, sometimes grey days can produce some interesting results, but a bit of sun would've been nice.. X)

I'll continue with some flowery stuff..

Snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis

Daffodil, of the Narcissus genus

Embedded (wasn't smart enough to check out the specific name), Copenhagen Botanical Garden
