Style indeed!
And NOTE: Udu didn't bother to sober Lilly! Perhaps he prefers her like that? TD wrote in this thread he will be away during the WEEK-END. |

Actually, I think there are ways that three Nazgûl could concentrate their wills and remove all evidences of the body. Of course, if that is done, someone will get suspicious at how the corpse disappeared without a single trace. The choice comes down to letting her die or healing her and ridding her of the memories. Whatever the decision, the Nazgûl must protect themselves or the people of Tharbad will be saying, "Strange things happen in that dark mansion. I would not want to be there alone at night." |

Or we may remove the woman upstairs, out of the way, and turn to more pressing matters: Khamul and his vengeance. For all Udu knows, Khamul may be following him... What about Khamul? Are you going to warn them, Udu? |

Udu finds females even more charming when they are drunk. They have the most captivating expressions on their faces when they are intoxicated. Quote:

Now - about that inconveniently zonked out maid. Why not have a now sober Pen take care of her, heal her or whatever, and Udu can "reprogram" her memory of the whole incident, and Lil can add realism to it by yelling at the poor girl when she comes out of it, for "drinking on the job" or something, and Viv can recommend that she take the next couple days off, and Khamul can say forget it - you're fired, and Zimra's not gonna say a word 'cause she'll be too scared and confused to start talking, and Rian'll never know anything other than the story of Merwen (is that her name?) getting drunk on kitchen wine and passing out on the floor and having to be revived by Master Pengolod. Convoluted, perhaps, but it could work, with a few tweaks & embellishments here and there. I go rest now; I can barely stay seated in my chair. Been working since 4:30 this morning. Meh.

Udu, did I say how much I enjoyed your last post, too? I loved that scene; Udu's really a cool cat isn't he! Sexy.

Poor Lotesse, go and rest now. 4.30 AM! Crazy!
I think your plan may work, if Udu knows how to re-program someone's mind. But still it takes time, that the company doesn't have... |

I just have a feeling that murdering her will end up coming back to haunt us ( pun intended!) in that too many suspicions will be aroused and too many potential tongues could wag fast and dangerously. Believe me, Viv would have no problem with murder if there seemed to be an immediate threat to her family, or if she were aroused in one of her famous death-temper moods, but as it stands... I don't know; you guys think about it. I shall come back online tomorrow; as Scarlett O'Hara says "I'll think about it tomorrow!"

The re-programming the mind idea has future advantages as well, should you choose to use it.

Cool might not be quite the word.... cold sometimes, maybe even coldness to the degree of the Chancellor. Not the volatile temper of the Easterling, though. Udu favors premeditated murder more than crimes of passion, although, push him... Sorry to hear you are so tired. This game is very engrossing. Get some rest now. Goodnight. |

Earniel - let me see if I can work something out. Gordis - I will dance with Aiwendis after - so your post can be a little later in time (we're all skipping about anyway). Oreturion MAY suspect Mahtaliel once he learns of the topaz - but maybe not. The ML perhaps shouldn't have messed with him... that DEFINITELY made him suspicious! And Oreturion is gifted enough to probably get onto the right scent!

Val - you may have missed Gor's post #332 where Aiwendis asks the king for another dance immediately after he leaves Rian (and before he addressed Earniel, it seems) - you guys might need to adjust a post or two depending on what order you all think is best for the next 2 dances.
Shah - could you please change your post #346 to reflect that Rian and Kingy-poo danced only 2 dances, instead of 4

Just changed my last post. Mahtaliel is no longer at the reception, she has work to do. And no, it isn't plotting type work, just paper work and some metalwork for the Watch.
Love everybody's posts, shiny writing everyone!
