I read the whole thing - several times yesterday and today. It does say about the trading and stuff - at the BEGINNING.

I absolutely adore them. If corpulence was an unknown concept, I'd guzzle kokosbollar endlessly

Had no idea they were called snowballs in English.

What songs or poems have you learnt, like nursery rhymes, or songs learnt while studying a language etc?

When I was smaller, my mum used to sing a song in Chinese that's about asking the moon for porridge.

I've also learnt the Mandarin version of the ABC song, for the Pinyin phonetic alphabet (Since Chinese has no alphabet). We've learnt several songs for Indonesian and Italian too.

Though I've never done French, we did learn this song:

Dormez vous? Dormez vous?
Sonnez les matines, Sonnez les matines
